It's been so nice beating those January blues with a little weekend away to my favourite city, Paris with my mama. As always our fleeting trip was full of inspiration and it was a wonderful opportunity to see what's to come for Autumn/Winter 2025. We definitely got the step count up walking around the massive trade shows but managed to fit in a few stop offs to some of my favourite stores and eating out in a couple of wonderful Parisian restaurants.
After catching the Eurostar on Friday eve we headed straight to Brasserie Lipp for a traditional steak et frites which was round the corner from our St.Germain hotel, Hotel des Grands Voyageurs, which I can highly recommend.
Saturday morning was an early start to hit the trade show Who's Next. We spotted a rather wonderful collection from one of our fav brands Louise Misha as well as a few exciting new ones, watch this space! Late afternoon we zoomed over to Le Bon Marche which was in in the full January sale swing and a little chaotic but Sezane and Balzac are just around the corner and they had lots of beautiful new season pieces. Next stop was the La Veste pop-up shop which I was super excited to see. The interior was so beautifully curated and all their stunning striped trousers were hard to resist. It was impossible to choose just one pair to take home! For supper mummy & I went to La Coupole one of my favourite fish restaurants for a seafood platter and a few glasses of Chablis.
On our last morning we headed to Maison & Objet filled with home wear, gifts, jewellery, accessories and so much more. It would have been easy to spend days wandering around this vast trade show discovering new treasures. The last thing we managed to squeeze in was a quick dash over to Maria De La Orden, which will be coming to POM this Spring! I picked up a super cool tartan jumpsuit for my Granny's 90th Birthday in Scotland this year.
All in all it was a super special couple of days spending some time with my mummy, seeing lots of beautiful things and gathering lots of inspiration for the season ahead.
