A Night In Paris 🇫🇷 🥐
Tracey and I embarked on our own "Emily in Paris" adventure for Paris Fashion Week and the trade shows. Over the course of two packed days, we experienced an abundance of beautiful things in the most inspiring settings, leaving us super excited for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. It was such an incredible experience to meet new, talented creatives and discover unique products that reminded us why we're so passionate about what we do. There's something about Paris, and French style in particular, that always stirs that excitement in me.
We began our journey early Friday morning, hopping off the Eurostar and heading straight to an appointment with a new and incredibly chic French brand—which will be revealed soon—in a picturesque courtyard in the 16th arrondissement. Next, with the Eiffel Tower in view, we visited the vibrant and playful Celia B collection. After a delightful lunch, we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring some of our favourite boutiques and stores, including Sezanne, Le Bon Marché, and Marie de La Orden, gathering inspiration from all the wonderful things on display. As the rain began to fall, we ended the day with a drink, soaking up the lively Parisian café scene—a perfect way to spend a Friday evening despite the weather.
After a quick refresh, wearing my stunning new Stella Nova lace sequin blouse, we made our way to the Marais district for dinner at a charming traditional restaurant called Robert et Louise. If you enjoy steak, fries, and a good red wine in a rustic, laid-back atmosphere, this place is simply perfect.
Saturday morning saw us heading to Premiere Classe at the Louvre, where there was so much to take in. We discovered a couple of amazing new finds that we can't wait to share with you next summer. After a quick croque monsieur at Le Café Marly, with a view of the Palace du Carrousel, we squeezed in a stop at The Frankie Shop in the Marais, where they were showcasing a fun Barbie collaboration for Fashion Week. Fashionistas were queuing up to see it! Then, it was time to rush back to Gare du Nord, wrapping up a whirlwind but incredibly fun trip. Paris may have been short and sweet this time, but it left us buzzing with excitement and fresh ideas for the future.
