COCO'S TOP PICKS IN STORE

Summertime is my favourite time of the year for dressing because of all those

beautiful summer dresses! Whether it’s a ditsy print floral print dress,

reminding us of hot summer days during the British summertime or a bright

flowing beach cover up, summer dresses always spark happy memories of

sunny days.

With a throw on and go ease you really don’t have to think about much else

when getting ready in a beautiful dress. I personally love a midi dress with

trainers for an effortless everyday look and I like to feel as comfortable as

possible. My main word of advice when it comes to fashion is to not

necessarily stick to the dress code and wear what YOU feel best in. If you feel

good, you won’t be worried about feeling under or overdressed!

So, what are my favourite summer brands this season at POM…. I am really

loving MABE’s prints and boho inspired pieces, teaming their blouses with

denim and cowboy boots, I add gold jewellery for interest to dress it up. I could

literally buy all their blouses we have in store this season; I really like that it has

made me look at other colours such as red and purple… I am usually very much

a neutral girl.

A lot of my wardrobe is now Lily and Lionel, I absolutely love their summer
collection this year and admittedly have three of their Annie Dresses in
different prints. As I am quite petite, I find the style gives me a little more
shape around the hips and has a flattering square neckline with smocking and
spaghetti straps. This is a classic I would wear to work and then straight out
into the evening with trainers and a little suede jacket. I feel feminine and
dressed up but also casual enough. Their prints are all so pretty and has also
made me feel inspired to wear brighter colours, the lilac tiger print is stunning!
Now I have bought enough dresses from them this season, I do have my eye on
the Ferne blouses, both the leopard print and bluebell are gorgeous, so hard to
choose. The Ferne is such a flattering shape, with slim shoulders and bell
sleeves, easy to wear with jeans and the Sofie Schnoor Swkiana Heels.

Lastly, Sundress is another one of my favourite summer brands, they do the
coolest holiday pieces! Think colour, shimmer and pom pom’s. As I say I am
usually quite neutral and not hugely experimental, but summertime is the time
to invest in those fun pieces that you can pull out for those special parties or
holidays.
